This product is an important water soluble polymer with valuable properties such as flocculation, thickening, shear resistance, drag reduction, and dispersibility. These properties vary depending on different derivative ions. Therefore, this product has been widely applied in sectors such as oil recovery, ore processing, coal washing, metallurgy, chemical industry, papermaking, textiles, sugar refining, pharmaceuticals, environmental protection, building materials, and agricultural production.

Polyacrylamide itself is not toxic, but it becomes harmful when the intake exceeds five parts per thousand for obstructing nutrient absorption in the gastrointestinal mucosa. The residual acrylamide monomer in polyacrylamide is toxic, and its use in food applications should be strictly controlled. Prevent moisture during storage and transportation.
